Höveler PUR.GASTRO is a specialised complementary horse feed formulated for horses with sensitive stomachs, digestive systems, or metabolic concerns. As part of Höveler's PURITAN range, it is completely grain-free and molasses-free, providing balanced nutrition without relying on traditional cereals or added molasses.
The carefully selected recipe combines linseed husks, whole linseed, sunflower hulls, pea flakes, timothy grass, apple pomace, chicory, flax cake, grape seed meal, and yeast-derived beta-glucans to deliver highly digestible fibre together with natural mucilage that helps soothe and protect the stomach lining. Linseed provides valuable omega fatty acids while supporting normal digestive function.
With approximately 25% crude fibre, PUR.GASTRO encourages prolonged chewing and increased saliva production. The natural bicarbonate present in saliva helps neutralise stomach acid, supporting normal gastric comfort and digestive health. The 10 mm pellets may also be soaked before feeding, making them suitable for older horses or horses with dental problems.
PUR.GASTRO is fully fortified with vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, making it suitable as the sole concentrate feed or alongside existing rations.
