ARTPHYTON
ARTPHYTON is intended to support the joint function in horses especially in cases of increased discomfort due to stiffness and immobility. The well-selected composition based on natural plant ingredients provides beside devil’s claw, also glucosamine (from herbal origin), willow (Salix alba), black currant (Ribes nigrum), Canadian fleabane (Erigeron canadensis) with many positive-modulating, well-investigated effects on joint discomfort in horses. ARTPHYTON is particularly recommended especially for older horses for keeping them comfortable in joint mobility and increase their quality of life.
Devil’s claw is well known as traditional medicinal plant and has international reputation as a plant with anti-inflammatory and analgetic properties. Several studies revealed that extracts of the plant’s roots seem to be effective in supporting advanced mobility issues of the connective tissue in the locomotor system.
Glucosamine is an important building brick of the cartilage-tissue matrix and helps to form proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans for supporting the shock-absorbing properties of the joint cartilage.
Willow (Salix alba) is a plant that has been investigated quite well for its anti-inflammatory effects. One of the main ingredients willow has become famous for is acetylsalicylic acid.

Carob pods, Barley flour, Lucerne flour, Sucrose, Devil ‘s Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) 6%, Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) 6%, Blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum) 3%, Willow (Salix alba) 3%, Canadian Fleabane (Erigeron canadensis), Brewer’s yeast, Glucosamine HCl 2.5%. Analytical constituents: Crude fiber 12%, Crude protein 10.7%, Crude ash 7%, Moisture 7%, Ash insoluble in HCl 3%, Crude fat 1.9%, Sodium 0.2%.

Adult horses (500 kg):
100 – 150 g once daily (mix with the feed)
CAUTION
Should not be given during pregnancy as devil’s claw can provoke contractions of the longitudinal uterine muscles in mammalians (suspicious for induction of abortion).

You will be compensated for the return shipping costs if the fault is due to a manufacturing defect.
