Cavalor Arti Motion and Arti Matrix can safely be given to horses with joint problems. Cavalor Arti Matrix is a concentrated formula especially designed to meet the increased nutritional needs of horses with that undergo high-intensity exercise, such as competition horses. Cavalor Arti Matrix is usually given during selected periods of time (4 weeks). In general, Cavalor Arti Motion is often provided between intervals of Cavalor Arti Matrix to provide the joints with a maintenance level of nutritional support.

It’s all in the mix− a sophisticated blend of herbal ingredients. The Cavalor Arti line features a special blend of herbs and essential oils, including Ananasus comosus, Curcuma longa, Boswellia serrata, Equisetum arvensis, Echinacea purpurea and Citrus aurantifolia.

This blend of herbs and essential oils ensures speedy effectiveness for joint recovery and reduces stiffness. Here, too, we pay a great deal of attention to the quality of our raw materials, and in the case of herbs it really does make a difference in terms of guaranteed concentration and effect. For example, the form of turmeric that we use contains 95% curcuminoids, the active ingredient.

• Hydrolysed collagen (obtained from porcine cartilage): is the basis for articular cartilage and hyaline cartilage. It makes up 50% of all protein in cartilage and 85-90% of collagen of articular cartilage. Hydrolysed collagen provides strength to the joint tissue.

• MSM: Organic form of Sulphur. Sulphur is important for muscles, joints, cartilage, bones and the blood; MSM is the best absorbable and biologically available source of sulphur. MSM is known to prohibit inflammatory effects.

• Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, Hyaluronic acid: Glycosaminoglycans are an important building block of ligaments, tendons, bones and synovia (synovial fluid).

• Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids: Precursor for prostaglandines 1 and 3.

• WPI: (whey protein isolate) A glutation precursor. Glutation is a very powerful anti-oxidant. Pure Glutation cannot be absorbed orally. Cavalor uses a nutrient complex called WPI that stimulates the production of Glutation in the body. Glutation protects the cells against destruction caused by increased free radicals attack. Glutation together with other antioxidantssuch as vitamin C, E, Bioflavonoiden and Se neutralize these free radicals.

In general Cavalor Arti Matrix is given for a select period of time sometimes followed by Cavalor Arti Motion to ensure a maintenance level of nutritional support for the joints.

Should I use Cavalor Arti Matrix prior to competitions? It is recommended to administer Cavalor Arti Matrix for at least 8 weeks. Cavalor FreeBute or Cavalor FreeBute Pro may be used in combination with Cavalor Arti Matrix.

When will I notice the first effects of the supplementation with Cavalor Arti Matrix? In some horses, results may show within 4-5 days. However, for best results, we recommend administering Cavalor Arti Matrix for 8 weeks as some of the ingredients need to be supplemented for a longer period of time in order to optimise and extend their effect.
