Description

·       Helps your horse stay relaxed, confident, and focused without becoming lethargic, switched off or affecting the ability to perform.

·       Ideal for taking the edge off during excitable or stressful situations such as competition, hacking, loading, clipping or any situation that may cause your horse to become anxious. It contains a unique combination of ingredients that are fast-acting and effective.

·       Designed for those who prefer to administer their calming supplements as a powder. Calming Powder has all the same benefits as Calming Cookies® but in a slightly stronger formula, often effective after 8 hours (for an average, healthy horse). Every horse is different, though and will metabolise at different rates, as well as having pre-existing levels of Serotonin.

·       The active ingredients in our Calming Powders are the amino acids L-Tyrosine and L-Arginine, which play important roles in managing anxiety and mood, whilst helping your horse to stay calm and confident.

·       L-Arginine is necessary to produce Nitric Oxide in the body. Nitric Oxide is a signalling molecule required for many bodily functions, including learning and memory.

·       L-Tyrosine is a precursor for the neurotransmitter’s dopamine, adrenaline, and noradrenaline, which also play an important role in behaviour and attention.

·       Calming Powder and Calming Cookies® complement each other and can be fed together. Calming Powder is a completely natural product, made in the UK.

Instructions for use

1 scoop (30ml) = 18g

Mix with feed. (Can also be syringed by mixing with a little water to form a paste).

Can be fed alongside our Calming Cookies.

The effects of our Calming Powders are more predictable and consistent when fed regularly and twice a day. Can be fed over longer periods or just as and when required.

Does not contain any known prohibited substances as defined by the FEI.

We recommend a loading dose of 5 days though, for more challenging behaviours, a loading dose for 10 days may be required

• Under 500kg: ¾ scoop twice a day
• 500kg- 600kg: 1 scoop twice a day
• 600kg: 2 scoops twice a day

• Under 500kg: ¾ scoop once a day
• 500kg - 600kg: 1 scoop once a day
• 600kg: 2 scoops once a day
