ELYTAAN

ELYTAAN can help to quickly balance electrolyte losses using highly concentrated ingredients with high bioavailability administered in liquid form. The composition of ELYTAAN aims to stimulate drinking and partially compensate sodium chloride losses as well as losses of other electrolytes during sweating. Besides magnesium, sodium, potassium, and calcium, ELYTAAN also contains the readily assimilated trace elements iron, zinc, copper, and manganese whose antioxidant activities prevent the muscles from getting hyper acid. Recovery and performance of the horse’s muscles and overall performance ability are additionally supported by the essential amino acids L-Lysine and L-Methionine as important building bricks for muscle cells.

COMPOSITION

Sugar syrup 28.6%, Magnesium chloride 18.7%, Sodium chloride 8.4%, Potassium chloride 2%, Calcium chloride 1%. Additives/kg: Composed of trace elements: Zinc (as Zinc chelate of glycine hydrate) (3b607) 1160 mg, Iron (as Iron(II) chelate of glycine hydrate) (3b108) 200 mg, Copper (as Copper (II) chloride dihydrate (3b403) 188 mg, Manganese (as Manganous chloride tetrahydrate) (3b501) 99 mg. Amino acids and salts: : L-Lysine (monohydrochloride) technically pure (3c322) 1069 mg, DL-Methionine technically pure (3c301) 1067 mg. Vitamins and pro-vitamins: Niacinamide (3a315) 716 mg, Calcium D-Pantothenate (3a841) 713 mg. Aromatic substances: Glycine (2b17034) 2570 mg. Analytical constituents: Moisture 53%, Crude ash 17.5%, Chloride 14%, Sodium 3.6%, Magnesium 2.1%, Crude fibre 1.5%, Potassium 1.15%, Crude protein 0.9%, Crude fat 0.8%, Calcium 0.43 %, Glucose 0.2% Phosphorus 0.1%.

ADMINISTRATION

·       The method of use has to be adapted to duration and intensity of exercise performed by the horse (500kg).

·       Light work (60-65 min walks, trot & canter): 45ml
Medium work (110-115 min walk, trot & canter): 90ml
Heavy work (160-210 min walk, trot & canter): 150ml
Very heavy work (up to 330 min walk, trot & canter): 300ml.

·       To be mixed with feed or water. Administer for 1 to 3 days after heavy sweating. Water must be available for at least 20 minutes or preferably for 1 hour post administration. Monitor subsequent drinking, if insufficient water intake is observed veterinary advice should be sought. Additional sodium and potassium intake can be given in addition to the supplementation of ELYTAAN, after consulting a veterinarian. A balanced composition of the daily ration should be ensured.
